About Anthony

Anthony Pucci has lived in Chemung County since 1974. He has been a member of the Town of Veteran Zoning Board of Appeals since 1995. He has also served as President of the Holy Family Catholic Schools Committee and President of the Friends of the Steele Memorial Library. 

He received his B.A. in English from Merrimack College and his Master's degree from Elmira College. He began his teaching career at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. He taught for forty-three years, mostly at Notre Dame High School in Elmira. During that time, he served as Chairman of the English Department, moderator of the school newspaper, moderator of the National Honor Society, Coordinator of the Advanced Placement Program, and lay faculty representative on the school’s Board of Governors.

Since his retirement in 2014, he has written four Michael Bishop Mystery novels. In addition to writing, he has many interests including reading, genealogy, and travel.

He lives with his wife, Cara, in the Town of Veteran. They have one daughter, Gina.
